Leaders Development signs an agreement for the implementation of a IKTVA program with S.S.E.M
In its strategic plans, Aramco has designed IKTVA program. This program aims to increase the local content and qualify the Saudis to work on its projects. Leaders Development has signed a two-year contract with one of the top contractors of Aramco which is (S.S.E.M) company. This contract aims to train Saudis on the skills of leadership work for projects. It is noteworthy that Saudi Aramco seeks in 2021 to increase the local content and to train the Saudi youth in the construction sector and Supply Chain by 70%.
The National Young Leaders Development Program (Sharq)will be launched -With the help of Allah-, on Tuesday, 06 February 2018 at Taibah University in Madinah.
The program aims to build the personality of the young man and train him as a leader. The preparation phase of the program was characterized by conducting many types of research and studies specialized in the field of leadership development for youth in particular. They were done by a distinguished research team to identify the challenges and difficulties facing the Saudi youth as well as their potentials that can be invested.
The program is designed according to a 12-skill model based on 3 key competencies (will, entrepreneurship, and leadership).
The program will be applied to 50 college students of Taibah University over a full semester. It is worth mentioning that the program is the result of a successful partnership between the education sector represented by the University of Taibah, the charitable sector represented by the Waqf Charity Association, and the private sector represented by the Leaders Development Company.
The Governor of the Job Creation Commission and combating Unemployment, Mr. Omar Al-Batati, signed a contract with the Leaders Development to train and qualify 4000 pioneers of activities in the Ministry of Education as part of Vision 2030 initiatives.
The Youth Community Service program (Ahlaha) aims at establishing positive values, building an independent personality for the people of the country, and developing the skills of young people and make good use of them.
This can be achieved through the training of activity pioneers to lead the initiatives of voluntary work with their students in schools in order to familiarize them with the initiative, leadership of voluntary work and national service which involves students in community service activities and contributes to the refinement of their personalities and develops their skills to be leaders and pioneers in the community, through the implementation of the program in 46 different cities of the Kingdom and continue for more than 15 months.
A group of specialists, practitioners, university professors and training experts participated in the project.
Meeting with the manager of the Institute of Public Administration of Bahrain (BIPA)
On Monday, 3 Safar 1439h The chief executive officer of Leaders Development visited the Institute of Public Administration of Bahrain (BIPA) and met with its Director General Dr. Raed Mohammed Abdullah Bin Shams as well as Mr. Ishaq Mohammed Al Kooheji, the Executive Director of Education and Development Department.
During the visit, a comprehensive definition of Leaders Development (LD) was presented as a home of national expertise specialized in leadership development and its distinctive focus and specialization in the work of research and development, and management of leadership training projects, with a detailed explanation of a number of LD products and most notably: the Promising Leaderships model, Bakr model, and others, as well as listening to an explanation about the Institute’s vision, objectives and the mechanism of its work. He also explained the model of the Institute in the development of public sector employees, and then a dialogue was held on ways of cooperation in which the two sides can work on mutual benefit.
Meeting the Executive Director of the Center for Creative Leadership in the Middle East
Professor Mansour Al Mansour, Director of Business Development Management in Leaders Development, held a working meeting with Mr. Nick Richardson, General Manager of CCL (Center for Creative Leadership) in the Middle East, during which they discussed ways of cooperation between Leaders Development and CCL and issued a draft cooperation agreement. that Mr. Nick Richardson would visit Leaders Development Center during next November to finalize the agreement.
As a reflection of the strategic partnership between Leaders Development Center and “About Learning Organization”, the Center implemented a training program for leadership through the 4MAT model.
The course was presented by Dr. Bernice McCarthy, who developed the theory of 4MAT, and with the assistance of Michael McCarthy the Executive Director of the Organization.
The training program on leadership was attended by a constellation of education, business leaders, and training institutions. This Program is the first of its kind in the region.
The importance of the subject has been confirmed through a survey conducted by LD on the beneficiaries of the program, which analyzes the learning system of each trainee and ways to facilitate the leadership of others and accelerate change within the organization. Leaders Development was represented by Prof. Mansour Al-Mansour and Mr. Abdul-Aziz Bin Tawaleh from the Research and Business Development Unit.
On Thursday, March 23, 2017, the program of the Boards of Directors was inaugurated under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Health, Dr. Tawfiq Bin Fawzan Al Rabiah, in a distinguished presence from a number of heads and members of health associations.
About 19 health associations and more than 25 presidents and board members from 9 different cities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia participated in the program. The program was implemented by Leaders Development Center and directly supervised by the Department of Community Participation, Ministry of Health of Saudi Arabia.
End of the First Phase of the Promising Leadership Program.
Based on the keenness of the Saline Water Conversion Corporation to empower and develop its human capital, improve their efficiency, and build their leadership and administrative capacities in accordance with the vision of the Kingdom of 2030, launched by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, may God protect him.
The first phase of the Promising Leadership Program has been launched – thanks to Allah Almighty – on Sunday, 29 Muharram 1438 AH corresponding to 30 October 2016. This Program aims to achieve the vision of the institution in the leadership qualification of its employees, and it is organized by the Executive Partner of the project (Leadership Development Center) and lasts for 18 months.
The first phase of this phase included the provision of three training courses, including a leadership course entitled (Leadership Framework), in addition to two courses in behavioral patterns. The first was (the presentation and show skills) and the second was the (promotion of personal effectiveness). After that, each promising leader had to meet with a personal guide on the job(coach). He reviewed the implementation of all the promising leaders for the performance tasks assigned to them in the first leadership meeting, including building their personal plans, challenges they face and ways to deal with them.
It is worth mentioning that this phase was characterized by a distinguished presence of more than 98% of the candidates for the program in a group of cities in the Kingdom containing Riyadh, Jeddah, Jubail, Yanbu, for 30 days training as part of the project training plan developed by the Executive Partner (Leadership Development Center) in partnership with Planning and Development Sector of the Saline Water Conversion Corporation.
The training events and the personal guidance activities of this phase have been concluded – thanks to Allah Almighty – on Thursday, 07 Rabi’ al-Thani 1438 AH corresponding to 04 January 2017 under the direct supervision of the executive team of the project, with a distinguished presence characterized by discipline and commitment from promising leaders.
His Excellency Dr. Abdulrahman Al Ibrahim, Governor of the Saline Water Conversion Corporation, launched the Promising Leaders Program in Riyadh on Monday, the sixth of Ramadan in 1437 which correspond to June 11, 2016. The Deputy Governor Engineer Abdullah Al Karim explained that the promising leadership program means a step towards self-development.
The Foundation will look for the best among 100 leaders to bridge the future gap in the functional needs at the level of middle management in various sectors of the institution. He addressed the promising leaders at the ceremony saying” “You are in front of a golden opportunity to be role models in your life, and we count very much to be the next leaders and we promised you that the development and motivation will be in the appropriate way, and only remained your self-commitment and work to cooperate with everyone.”
In addition, the Launch ceremony of the Promising Leaders Program Which was organized by the leadership Development in collaboration with Saline Water Conversion Corporation witnessed various performances. The Executive Chairman of the Saudi Electricity Company, Engineer Ziad Al-Shiha reviewed his leadership experience from the beginning of his work until the present. Dr. Abdullah Al-Jarf managed a meeting between the leaders of the Saline Water Conversion Corporation and promising leaders.
